It’s not just an issue for those who are lactose intolerant

Diary is one of the top contributors to excess inflammation

Inflammation that lasts over 72 hours is a problem and may cause weight gain along with bloating

Despite your best intentions to eat a healthy source of calcium, dairy could be causing fatigue, irritable bowel, anxiety, and weight-gain because dairy is one of the top foods that contribute to inflammation and gut sensitivity which can lead to leaky gut.

Mothers breast milk is known to be the healthiest form of food for her newborn, but we are the only mammals that drink milk as adults. 30 to 50 million Americans, can’t produce lactase, the enzyme that breaks down dairy and therefore can’t tolerate it.

Long-term inflammation from dairy can lead to leaky gut syndrome. This syndrome makes food particles, such as the proteins in dairy trigger an alarm in the immune system of our gut. This causes weight gain, insulin resistant, congested, tired, foggy, depressed, asthmatic, and stressed.

Inflammation is your body’s natural defense system, but when your white blood cells go into overdrive it can become the cause of many other diseases, including cancer, diabetes, dementia, and obesity. Women are more vulnerable to inflammation than men, which leads to more autoimmunity, thyroid issues, infections, arthritis, oral health problems, and other conditions. The reasons are not fully understood but may be linked to lower levels of testosterone and higher levels of estrogen.

By reducing your inflammation and eating plant based foods to consume your calcium, you can stay slimmer and reduce the risk of complex auto-immune diseases, leaky gut syndrome, and other chronic inflammatory diseases.

The latest research for overall well-being is a healthy lymphatic system. This system functions with the digestive system to absorb dietary lipids, which enter lymphatic vessels rather than blood vessels for transport. The lymphatic system is responsible for absorption of our nutrients from food, absorbs and transports fatty acid and fats as chyle from the digestive system. It’s also a main detoxication system for our tissues, governs the immune system. For a healthy lymphatic system, drink plenty of water. Exercise regularly both weight training and cardio. Eat healthy, get massages, vibrational plates, or try manual lymphatic drainage techniques.
