Hackers can collect personal information from your email

If email is important, upgrade to business service for nominal cost.

Most of us take advantage of free email accounts with Google, Apple, Microsoft or Yahoo. As we know, you get what you pay for, ladies and gentlemen. If your email is important to you – stores important records, for example – it is wise to upgrade to a business account for a nominal monthly fee (e.g. $6). This typically provides timely support and improved control in a hacking situation. It can mean the difference between preservation of important personal data or total loss.

For the truly security-concerned, Consumer Reports recommends ProtonMail, an end-to-end encrypted email service.
