Take advantage of the Lock Screen on your smartphone to provide an email address and an alternate smartphone number in case your lost or stolen smartphone is recovered by a good Samaritan. Simply use a graphic editor on your lock screen photo to add the needed information (Windows offers Paint free, out-of-the-box.
In the event that your smartphone is stolen, there is a possible recovery solution if the thief doesn’t turn the smartphone off (and then reset it):
● For iPhones, it’s the Find My iPhone app.
● For Androids, it’s the Find My Device app.
